And in New York and Italy, too! In fact, foreign nations LOVE Danish produce, and that’s the theme of our new campaign for The Danish Agriculture and Food Council.
For example, Danish pig meat is a must at the world-famous Ramen restaurant Ippudo. In Manhattan, an entire neighborhood of kids has grown up eating Danish Havarti cheese. And in Italy, they import Danish iceberg lettuce simply because it’s ‘magnifico’.
It’s bound to make every Dane feel proud, and that’s the whole point. In other countries they know well that Danish produce is among the best in the world when it comes to flavor, animal welfare and food safety. Now it’s time the Danes catch up, too.
