The Wish Cloud

Task:
The digital services have been really good for moving Post Danmark’s image in a positive direction.

One of the most important business areas for Post Denmark is parcel distribution, which becomes even more important in the years to come, as online shopping gains ground.

Therefore, Post Danmark desired a digital service which could both promote their image and create more business for parcel post. And in particular, strengthen their offering for, and relationship with, online shoppers.

Solution:
The solution became Ønskeskyen (The Wish Cloud) – Danes’ new digital wish list across digital devices like app and website.

A digital service which, for consumers:

  • Helps Danes remember and organise their wishes
  • Makes it easy to share wishes with friends and family
  • Makes it easy for recipients of the lists to get an overview of preferences and prices, and to find the gifts in webshops
  • Generates a lot of traffic to webshop pages with the specific wishes
  • Provides an opportunity to inspire and push products
  • Brands Post Danmark towards consumers by providing a useful and good service which solves a real problem for them

Results:
The Wish Cloud was launched in April 2015

  • The KPI was 150,000 sign-ups in 2015
  • Result: 165,000 sign-ups in 2015
  • Number of wishes added by users: 1,136,461
  • Number of links opened: 799,498
  • Since launch, there have been more than 620,000 monthly page views by a total of 400,000 unique users.
